Edgewater citizens and stakeholders are invited to join City Staff and representatives from the planning
consultant team for Visioning Workshop #2. Discussion will be focused around the City visioning efforts to date, the second Visioning Survey, future vision elements, and potential implementation timelines.
Make sure your voice is heard!

Participants will have the opportunity to provide input on desired outcomes of various development and
redevelopment opportunities that enhance community assets, promote “placemaking,” and shape the
identity of the City. This is the second community workshop for the Vision Plan.

One or more City Council or Advisory Board members may be in attendance.

• Secured over $16 million in grants for stormwater and canal improvements to reduce flooding.
• New Pickleball Facility planned for Hawks Park.
• New boat ramp being planned on the Indian River (south of Hacienda Del Rio).
• Extending reclaimed water access to conserve potable water and reducing the number of dirt roads to
improve water quality.
• Improvements to enhance resiliency against severe weather events (YMCA, Water and Wastewater Plants).
• Strengthen police department facilities and equipment and establishment of Citizen’s Academy.
• Fire-Rescue Department added New Medic 55 Ambulance with 24/7 Staffing.
