The Human Resources Department works with the City Manager, department directors, and employees in the area of recruitment, classification, compensation, training, benefits, labor / employee relations and related human resources functions.
The Human Resources Department supports the City's efforts to attract, develop and retain a diverse and productive workforce that is capable of providing quality services to the citizens of Edgewater.
The efficiency and effectiveness with which City services are delivered to the public depends, in large part, on the quality and motivation of the workforce providing those services. The City's employees are its most important asset in accomplishing its varied goals and objectives.
