Temporary Shut Off of Water - March 12, 2024 - 8:00am-12:00pm - Precautionary Boil Water Notice - West Park Avenue East of Old County to North Ridgewood Avenue
We will be shutting water off to (3) Locations on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 @ 8:00am-12:00pm the water will be shut off from east of Old County to N Ridgewood on West Park Ave.
Addresses affected by the water services shut off:
100 N Ridgewood Ave
100 Whetzel Street
131 West Park Ave
(1)Hydrant will be out of service on the NE corner of Whetzel and West Park
Due to a scheduled water line maintenance the water will be SHUT OFF on March 12, 2024 - 8:00am-12:00pm. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that once all water services are restored, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottle water may be used.
This "PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE" will remain in effect until the maintenance has been completed and a bacteriological survey shows the water is safe to drink. All affected homes will be notified by a "RESCIND NOTICE' when the water is safe to drink.
