Coastal Management Element– Typically the coastal Management element maintains habitat preservation, including the wetlands and upland ecosystems. This element will enhance and maintain the native habitats, water quality, mitigation goals, shoreline protection, and surface water characteristics.

Conservation Element– Typically the conservation element serves to protect, enhance, and conserve the ecological values of the community. This element also protects the Indian river/ mosquito lagoon.

Recreation and Open Space Element– Typically the recreation and open space element outlines the approach to provide parks and open spaces to a community. This can include scenic, cultural, environmental, and historical elements.
