Can I pay for my permit over the phone?
Although we do not have a method of accepting payment by phone, you are able to pay for a permit through our website. If you go to "Schedule an Inspection" under 'Building & Permitting', you can enter in your permit number and make a payment with a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you are making a payment in person we also accept cash and checks.

How can I submit a permit application?
Applications may be submitted the following ways:
- In person
- By mail: P.O. Box 100, Edgewater , FL 32132
- By fax: 386-424-2423
- Only the following types of permit applications will be accepted via email at BuildingDept@Cityofedgewater.org
- Mechanical change outs
- Water heater change outs
- Electrical Service changes
- Fence permit applications
- Political sign applications
- Roofing permit applications
