Sandbag Distribution Information

With the possibility that weather related to Potential Tropical Cyclone 9 may impact our community in the coming days, the City of Edgewater has stocked two locations throughout the City with sand piles.
Sand pile locations:
Southwest Corner of Hibiscus Drive and 26th Street
Mango Tree Lake (901 Mango Tree Drive)
Sand piles information:
- Both locations are accessible 24 hours a day and staffed at the hours listed below.
- Residents should bring their own shovels and bags outside of staffed hours at the Mango Tree Lake location.
- Bags may also be purchased at local home supply centers or double-bagged, heavy-duty garbage bags may be used.
Sand bag information:
The Mango Tree Lake location will be staffed for sand bag distribution on:
- Wednesday, September 25, 2024 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday, September 26, 2024 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (weather permitting)
The Hibiscus Drive location will be staffed for sand bag distribution on:
- Wednesday, September 25, 2024 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday, September 26, 2024 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (weather permitting)
15 bags will be available per household with proof of Edgewater residency, while supplies last
