Road Closure-Emergency Repairs-Riverside Drive from Ocean Ave to E Palm Way-March 14, 2023

Emergency Repairs

A vehicle hit overhead wires along Riverside Dr at Merrimac St intersection, pulling them down. Riverside Dr will be closed between Ocean Ave to E Palm Way while repair work is proceeding.

 

City crews are on scene to ensure the water/sewer utilities continue to function, including setting up a portable generator at the City’s sewage lift station. FPL power and telecommunications crews are en route to respond. It is unclear at this time the extent of the outage for electric power and telecommunications.

 

The entrance to Menard-May Park is unaffected and can remain open during the repair.
