Public Notice-CDBG-MIT Program
The City of Edgewater anticipates applying for Rebuild Florida Critical Facility Hardening Program (CFHP) funding in the amount of three hundred thousand ($300,000.00) provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through HUD’s newly created Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program. This funding is designed to address mitigation needs to ensure that the state of Florida is more resilient to future natural disasters. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) is the lead agency and responsible entity for administering the CDBG-MIT funds allocated the state.
Applications are due to DEO no later than June 30, 2020.
The City of Edgewater intends to submit an application which will include the following activities:
