Effective Monday, JULY 13th Refuse reverts back to twice a week pickup
Effective Monday, July 13th the Environmental Services Department Solid Waste Division will be reverting back to twice a week refuse pick up schedule. The health and safety of our employees and residents is still our top priority. With this in mind we will continue with the social distancing of a driver and one employee on the truck. Please remember that we will not be picking up bagged and/or contained yard debris with the regular garbage; this will go back to being picked up by the refuse trucks on Wednesdays. Any loose piles of yard waste will be picked up on a continual route, which can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. We ask that residents bag as much of their yard debris as possible to be picked up on Wednesday. We appreciate everyone’s patience during these trying times.
It is essential that all garbage/recycling/yard waste/large items be at the street no later than 7:00 am on the assigned pick up day.
If you have a question about when your waste will be picked up please call 386.424.2400 ext. 4007, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
