Information Technology

The Information Technology Department (IT) is an internal service that supports, maintains, and services all City of Edgewater Departments. Technology has begun to transform the way we conduct business at the City of Edgewater. Our focus is on delivering technology to enhance communications with our residents, to enhance the availability of city services and processes that can be accessed and transacted via the internet, and preserve our technology infrastructure.

The IT Department also provides information services on a citywide basis including all accounting reports and financial information received.

The IT program is crucial to the accurate accounting, financial reporting, and overall technical support of the City of Edgewater including the following areas of responsibility:
