District 4 Special Election
SPECIAL ELECTION
Due to resignation of District 4 City Councilman Rob Wilkie the City will hold a Special Election to fill the remainder of his term, which ends in December 2028.
IMPORTANT DATES
Qualifying: Monday, January 13, 2025 at 9:00 am until Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Noon. *Appointments are required for qualifying*
Primary Election (only if more than 2 candidates qualify): Tuesday, February 18, 2025
General Election: Tuesday, April 1, 2025
RUNNING FOR CITY COUNCIL
In order to qualify to run for City Council candidates must be a qualified elector of the City of Edgewater and must have or will have resided within the district they will qualify for for at least one (1) year immediately preceding the date of the election.
If you are running for office, it is your responsibility to become acquainted with relevant Florida election laws and the City of Edgewater Charter that might have a bearing on your campaign or qualifications to run for office.
Please contact the City Clerk's office for additional information or to schedule an appointment for qualifying.
VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINES
Primary Election: January 21, 2025
General Election: March 3, 2025
