Peddlers, Solicitors, Canvassers and Itinerant Merchants – Registration
Any person wishing to engage home solicitation sales within the City must first obtain a home solicitation sales permit from the Volusia County Clerk of Court as required by F.S. 501.022, unless excluded by F.S. 501.022(b), as amended. Information on how to obtain the home solicitation sales permit can be found on the Clerk of Court website http://www.clerk.org/home_solicitation.aspx or by calling (386) 736-5913. Residents can also call the Clerk of Court to confirm if an individual has a valid home solicitation sales permit.
Any person wishing to engage in panhandling or itinerant merchandising sales within the city must first register with the City. Applications shall be submitted to the City Clerk.
