Environmental Advisory Board

The Environmental Advisory Board shall consist of five members and meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Members shall serve two-year terms.

The Board shall serve in an informational and advisory capacity for the City through the Environmental Services Department.  This Board shall also encourage and participate in education for our residents as to the benefits of protecting our environment.

Board responsibilities include: research and respond to requests for comments on subjects of environmental, natural water resources and environmental sustainability and resiliency issues from the City Council, City Manager or other appropriate city staff; research, review and provide comments to staff on legislative activities which might impact the city; consider suggestions and concerns from citizens referred by the City Council, City Manager or other appropriate staff in regards to environmental concerns and make recommendations to the City Council; and assist in educating citizens in various aspects of environmental protection.
