Tenant Cancel or Transfer Service

Are you a tenant moving out of your current location??? You can now fill out our Online Cancel or Transfer form.
Please make sure to attach a copy of your Drivers License and new lease if transferring service to a new location. Current account must paid in full before transfer can be completed.

There is a $200 deposit for a ¾" meter and $35 service charge. $235 is the most to be paid for Water and Sewer service, however, it could be less depending on your utility credit score.

There is also a Non-Negotiable deposit for the Garbage Cart of $50. This will bring the total deposit, depending on credit, for the Water, Sewer, and Garbage Cart Deposit to a full $285.00. Please make sure to have the Garbage Cart on the outside of the house for verification.
***Please note: that this form cannot and will not be used to start new service. Current account must be paid in full before transfer can be completed. THE CITY IS UNABLE TO TAKE REQUESTS MORE THAN ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE.
To start new service you must come down in person to City Hall (104 N. Riverside Drive, Edgewater, FL 32132), please be sure to bring a signed copy of your lease and your original driver's license.
